Process optimization through efficient logistics
The logistics flows are part of those processes which must be planned in parallel to the technical aspects of the product. These logistics flows involve agreement between the supplier's and the manufacturer's assembly plant on matters of transportation, lot size and assembly site details.

Whereas the "just in time" (JIT) form of delivery has long been the established standard for transportation logistics, the "just in sequence" (JIS) form of delivery is taking on increasing significance. JIS means that the delivered parts within a transport container are arranged in the sequence in which they will be needed for chassis on the assembly line.

Over the years the Trier Group has realized both variants for its partners within the framework of supply chain management.
